Sound Mind Austin employs a psycho-therapeutic approach to help guide the artist’s journey toward healthy relationships, sound minds, and peak on-stage performances. Additionally, Sound Consultation serves the greater music industry and national conversation around mental health advocacy and a life in music. | About Me: | Dave’s experience in mental health runs decades deep. His primary clinical focus integrates issues related to peak performance, trauma, healing, gender violence, positive masculinity, and a drive to bridge the muse of music and mental health. He is a trauma-informed licensed clinical psychotherapist and utilize techniques to deepen somatic comfort and strengthen mindfulness. These practices, alongside advanced applications in EMDR and clinical hypnosis, hold the power to strengthen progress, grow comfort, and heal trauma. |
