About Course

Talking about sex can feel intimidating, awkward, or even off-limits — especially when shame, past messaging, or relational tension gets in the way. This free course is a companion to our Zessions podcast episode with Jess Worthington, LMFT, and is designed to help you and your partner (or yourself!) begin to approach these conversations with curiosity, clarity, and compassion. Through bite-sized psychoeducation, real-life examples, and practical tools, you’ll learn how to build a stronger culture of intimacy, improve sexual communication, and deepen trust — one conversation at a time.

Whether you’re navigating desire differences, rebuilding connection, or simply looking to improve your ability to talk openly about sex, this course provides a warm, accessible starting point.

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify cultural, developmental, and relational factors that impact comfort with sexual communication

  • Recognize the role of shame, performance pressure, and past experiences in sexual disconnection

  • Practice conversation starters that support open, affirming, and non-critical dialogue about sex

  • Build emotional and physical intimacy through intentional, non-sexual connection

  • Explore ways to center consent, safety, and mutual pleasure in intimate relationships

  • Reframe sex as an evolving process of play, curiosity, and communication — not a performance
